FBCStudents

At FBCStudents (6th - 12th grade), we are all about Jesus and one another. We believe that we are a family and the church is our home! As a family, we worship, work, and play together. And we want the church to serve as our home; a place of both fun and safety. We do our best to make anyone and everyone feel welcome. We believe because God has created everyone with a purpose and unique gifts, each member makes our family stronger. We gather twice a week with all sorts of retreats, trips, and fun outings throughout the year. We’re glad you’re here!

The Porch

The Porch
“What are you doing Wednesday night? Come join me at The Porch!” We get together every Wednesday during the school year to love God and one another. We accomplish this through eating a meal together, hanging out on the basketball and volleyball courts, and spending time in small groups.

The Porch Junior High
Our junior high students (6th-8th grade) meet on Wednesday nights from 5:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Porch High School
High school students (9-12th grade) meet from 6:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. High schoolers are invited to stay for Late Night on the first Wednesday of every month until 9:00 p.m.

We call ourselves a family and believe that we are a family on mission! Our mission is to make Jesus known to everyone. Come join our family! Contact Student Pastor, Taylor Dunn, with any questions (tdunn@fbckaufman.org).

Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings are all about growing in our knowledge of God and our personal relationships with Him. We meet at The Porch at 9:15 a.m. for breakfast and a conversation surrounding how to follow Jesus and understand God more. We believe we are better together. We would love for you to join us! We get into God’s Word at our Table Groups where we have meaningful conversations about prayer, the Bible, and sharing the Gospel. See you Sunday morning! For questions or more information, contact Taylor Dunn (tdunn@fbckaufman.org)..

Forward: A Ministry of FBC Students

A Place for Second Chances and New Beginnings

We know that students in DAEP (Disciplinary Alternative Education Program) are often written off or forgotten. We don’t believe that.

Every student has a future. We want to help them move forward and make the most of it.

At Forward, we believe in second chances and lost causes—because Jesus does. Our church values remind us that we love all people and care about the forgotten and we believe in second chances and new beginnings.

What is Forward?
Forward is a ministry designed specifically for students in DAEP and their families. We see you. We care about you. We want to provide a place of belonging, growth, and encouragement for both parents and students.

For Students:
A smaller, welcoming group on Tuesday afternoons after school (instead of a large Wednesday night gathering) designed to help students feel comfortable and known.
A positive environment where they can build friendships and grow in their faith.
A mentoring relationship to provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability.

For Parents:
A safe space to talk with someone who understands the struggles of raising a teen in DAEP.
A community of parents to learn from, support, and encourage one another.
Resources and guidance to help you navigate this season and move your family forward.

We know this season can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to walk through it alone. We are here to help.
